Faced with so many new opportunities and resources, how do you go about building your own Accomplishment plan?

Of course, a lot depends on you, where you are in life right now, where you see yourself in the future. Your definition of Accomplishment will be your own; it’s not for us to dictate what the details must be or how far you need to go. There is no external benchmark, no universal SuperAger scale of Accomplishment, that everyone is expected to live up to. The only common denominator is a sense of both purpose and engagement, as distinct from the DefaultAging model of withdrawal and lack of aspiration.

We recommend keeping it simple, especially at the start, and then letting the action steps grow as you work your way through. Here are the three steps to get you started:

Define a goal or purpose.

Research the categories of possibility.
