You ask whether I would be inclined to contribute articles to a magazine in which I had been described as a “burnt-out case. ” The answer to your question is Yes. In fact, I have contributed pieces to magazines which printed far worse things about me. Besides, if I thought you were a “burnt-out case, ” would I be eager to publish you? And believe me, I am.
