Words of Advice or, In My Opinion

My purpose for writing this book was to inform the reader on the regionalization process as it relates to the fire service, as well as how it relates generically to other local government disciplines. My intent was never to tell the reader specifically what to do, but what to consider in general. Having said this, I cannot ignore what I have personally experienced in the regionalization process. In fact, my experience is what qualifies me to write this book in the first place. So, while the majority of this book focuses on what to consider in the regionalization process, I also felt obligated to give the reader my opinion on specific areas of my experience that I believe warrant special emphasis.

While the information listed below may seem to be my advice, I prefer to consider it as my opinion: my opinion that has been developed as a result of my experience in the fire service, the fire regionalization process, and my experience in life in general.
