Reconstruction of the orbito-facial region is a challenge due to its complex anatomy, wide variety of available implants and associated cosmetic and psycho-social impact.

The principle goal of management of orbital trauma is different from the rest of the facial skeleton as more weightage is given to the restoration of intra-orbital volume than in restitution of the fractured fragments to their anatomical position. Integration of different technologies, such as preoperative computer-assisted planning for defining and simulating the desired outcome, intraoperative surgical navigation/CT scans, customized stereolithographic (STL) models have opened new avenues in the surgeons’ armamentarium to tailor the reconstruction [4].
