Vermicelli Upma
In a 2Ltr cooker add as follows:
L1: 2tbsp water, 1tbsp oil
L2: 1/2C ch onions to cover the base
L3: 30 seconds soaked drained 180 grams ragi vermicelli mixed with 3/4tsp salt
L5: Premade tadka of 1tbsp each (ch green chillies, ginger), 1tsp each ( urad dal, chana dal), 1/2tsp mustard seeds, 1/8tsp asafoetida, 8 curry leaves.
L6: 1/2C grated carrots to cover the vermicelli and 1/4C green peas.
Cook for a whistle/5minutes. Release pressure. Mix everything. Garnish with 3tbsp each (pomegranate and ch coriander leaves)
Replace/supplement:
Ragi vermicelli with other millet vermicelli Can add 1/2C mix veggies on Layer 6.
