CHAPTER 22

Memory Improvement

Through Association

Many psychologists agree that the brain can collect unlimited information. According to them, our brains can never burst at the seams.

It is, however, possible that the new information will conflict with the information preserved for a long time and tediously recall the older information. To avoid this type of scenario, a person should arrange the information inside him/herself.

Memory can be categorized as short-or long-term. In a short time, the brain retains information that can last for a few minutes. This kind of memory is normal and sensitive.

The brain is conditioned to throw it out quickly. At least seven short memories can be kept in mind. This is an estimate because you usually remember your cell number, but when shopping online, you need your credit card.

You don't need to do much research in the short term, such as recalling your dental check time or the name of the local priest to call for your child's baptism. This is because the knowledge is not necessarily necessary and can be overlooked.

In the case of long-term memory, on the other hand, such as a reminder of trivia contests, contact numbers, safety policies numbers, etc., additional measures must be made, because these items are important for lasting recovery.

This can be achieved during the day several times. Then try to remember the new information for at least a few weeks at a time. At the end of the retrieval cycle, the things that you recalled were permanently stored in mind.

Several techniques have been studied to improve memory, for example, object processing and association, accurate and humorous pictures, converting numbers into picture word "associating" objects in long series for listing and matching items with peg words to recall enumerated lists. Such approaches are very similar, although there are some terminological and system differences, fundamental understanding is related.

Even because of these recall methods, these techniques cannot be used to remember chemical formulas for the test. You can use some tricks to boost your memory to help.

There are ways to focus on a particular application. The trick is to use the methodology and information that you have learned and to use in your mind.

The main thing to remember is that connections and links have to be formed to retrieve hard information that will support a person's memory. This is why anyone with an average brain can remember items with mnemonics dramatically.

As an example, a person is required to remember more during the development of a Memory Temple by associating objects to other objects such as feelings, mental hits, etc. The more mental links are formed, the more chances you remember the details.

Memory is an exceptional brain process to recall things we have learned or tested. This very basic definition is unusual as it includes complex functions that integrate different brain regions and work rigorously.
