Channel A is red, and channel B is blue. They cross with an X pattern to cover the full pain area of the mid back.

Now I will show you specific electrode placements on different areas of the body. Each section is broken down to a specific area of the body along with common ailments that are alleviated by those placements. There are no placements shown on the chest area because it is contraindicated if you have heart issues.

GENERAL KNEE PAIN

Channels: 2

Method: TENS

Use two-channel placements for a larger or general area of knee pain. For the wired units, each channel has two electrodes as shown above. Channel A is depicted with the red electrodes, and channel B is depicted with the blue electrodes.

Use an X pattern for the placements, crossing the channels over the general area of pain.

These placements can be used for a number of injuries and ailments, including but not limited to: general knee pain, knee tendonitis, knee bursitis, plica syndrome, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear/sprain, meniscus injury or tear, patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS), chondromalacia patella (runner’s knee), knee osteoarthritis or arthritis, medial collateral ligament (MCL) tear/sprain, posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) tear/sprain, lateral collateral ligament (LCL) tear/sprain, patellar tendonitis, total knee arthroplasty (TKA) or total knee replacement (TKR), and other post-surgery pain.
