When the client has internally decided to stop the project, they have several options to inform the supplier. These are usuallyFormal notification

When the client feels confident, is convinced that the decision is completely justified, they usually choose the formal path (written document). At the same time, a trial may start against the supplier. The clientâs strong conviction that they are right may have a lot of different reasons. Itâs worth remembering that this is the clientâs point of view that the supplier may question (what is explained in the sections that follow). The clientâs priority is to have their decision documented for further use (potentially in court).
