12. Pesto Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

1 whole chicken

½ cup butter, softened

¼ cup pesto sauce

½ tsp dried thyme

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Prepare oven at 330 F.

Take a bowl; add cayenne pepper, salt, thyme, pesto, butter and combine.

Arrange chicken in a baking sheet; scatter pesto mix alongside butter onto it and wrap with aluminum foil.

Bake for about an hour and discard the foil.

Turn the oven high onto 350 F and bake for about an hour more before you serve.
