It is Heavily Dependent on Quick Decision Making

Due to the adaptive nature of the method, Agile Project Management requires leaders that are quick to think of their feet. This means that you should be able to improve if conditions change in one way or another during the implementation without losing momentum for the team.

The agile method requires you to make decisions that would greatly affect the project later on and you have to make that decision ASAP. If you are the one that tends to linger on the decision making process, then perhaps the Agile Method is a bit too fast for you.

However, you can counteract this by decentralizing the decision making process and sharing it with your team. Perhaps they can come up with a beneficial decision at a rate faster than you can. In addition, this helps in bolstering their trust with the management and ownership with the project. They more they feel that they have a say in the decision-making process, the more motivated they will be in making the agile method sustainable.
