You created a company called Reel Experience. Tell me about this company and your passion for exploring film locations.

Melanie Mullen: What I’ve realized through visiting film locations and meeting other people who like to do the same is there are actually a lot of us out there who enjoy that. I’m very fortunate that I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, so filming locations have always been pretty accessible to me. My mom took me to the Michael Myers house from Halloween when I was twelve years old. So it’s always been a passion of mine. I can’t tell you why I will drive fifty miles just to go see a house. You visit a location that was used in a film that was shot thirty years ago. The film crew and cast have come and gone, but the locations still stand. To me it’s a standing history of that work.
