7-2

For a small project, find more examples of fortis/lenis obstruents in the intervocalic positions with or without a morpheme boundary similarly to those in Activity 7-11. For example ‘nab-nap’ & ‘nabber-napper’ with a morpheme boundary compared to ‘lab-lap’ & ‘rabbit-rapid’ and check in Praat if pre-fortis clipping in the speech of native speakers is sensitive also to the presence of this morpheme boundary following the target obstruent.
