15.4 Conclusions

This chapter described mechanisms and imaging characteristics of skiing and snowboarding injuries including the entire body regions. Lower extremity injuries are particularly common. Multimodality imaging helps clinicians manage these injuries, and, in particular, ultrasound and MRI are useful for the evaluation of soft tissue injuries.
