One of the keys to attaining any goal is to figure out which actions will lead to the accomplishment of that goal and then enshrining those actions in a regular habit. Let's take writing a book for an example. Writing a book can be a vast undertaking. A typical mystery novel contains about 70,000 words. That’s quite an intimidating prospect. But let's say I had the habit of writing just 200 words a day each evening before I went to bed. It might take me half an hour on most nights. No big deal. In less than a year, I'd have the novel written.
