Once you are satisfied with the Concept section, you start on The Foreword, which is, of course, the first part of The Outrageous Approval Tool. You may find that this section is easier to write than the Concept. It’s like you’re writing a snatch of history. You’re stating as factual as possible what condition the market and your organization is in. You’re not trying to shade history here; if you do attempt shading it, your Supreme Court could call you out on it. A debate, or even worse an argument, could emerge. Not good. That could put a dent in your credibility even before you get to pitch your idea. Play it straight.
