21. The exhibit at Charlie

Another exhibit of interest is where Checkpoint Charlie used to be - The Black Box Kalter Krieg . This 200 m² structure informs the public on the history of this most famous border crossing point.

Here, contemporary history comes alive: Churchill, Stalin, Roosevelt, the Korean War and the Cuba Missile Crisis , Khrushchev’s legendary appearance before the UN General Assembly, propaganda, and tanks used against popular movements, the arms’ race, espionage, wars in Africa, Indochina and the Near East, reform movements and Peaceful revolutions.
