When you woke up this morning, did you automatically start thinking about the various problems in your life? This was certainly true for me for the first half of my life. In my early days of doing this work, I would immediately start thinking about my various unsolvable problems the moment I woke up. While still lying in bed, I would get that familiar sick feeling in my gut as I realized that my problems were still with me. From that point on, the rest of the day became a downhill battle with these imaginary problems inside of myself.
