Water Qi

Water qi refers to a water-like pathogen. Combined with wind, it tends to attack the upper part of the body. Conditions of water qi which are caused by spleen or kidney yang qi deficiency will be examined here as shown in Table 7.11. Conditions which are brought about by a decline of heart and kidney yang, leading to water qi attacking the heart, will be discussed below in Chapter Nine, “Pattern Identification According to the Internal Organs.”
