Ground Beef

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Dehydration time: 6 hours

Serving: 1/2 pound

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef or turkey

½ cup ground bread crumbs

Instructions:

Take a large bowl, place ground beef in it, crumble it, then add bread crumbs and then stir until combined.

Take a large frying pan, place it over medium-high heat, and when hot, add beef mixture and then cook for 10 to 15 minutes until cooked and light brown.

When done, spread ground beef on a baking sheet lined with parchment sheet and let it rest for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.

Then switch on the dehydrator, then set it to 145 degrees F, and when it preheats, and spread ground beef in a single layer on the dehydrator trays lined with parchment paper.

Shut the dehydrator with its lid, and then let the ground beef dry for 6 hours until completely dry.

When done, turn off the dehydrator, open the lid and let the berries cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Transfer the ground beef into plastic bags, and then store in a cool and dry place, away from heat or direct light.
