1. Compile what you consider to be a comprehensive list which represents the core principles, perspectives and priorities of two organisations in which you are or have been personally involved as an employee, student or active participant.

2. Provide reasons if you feel strongly that there are fundamental flaws in founding operational business leadership on a set of universal values and/or a single organisational dominant logic.

3. Put forward the names of two multinational and/or “global” organisations which you consider failed in their espoused objectives due to the absence of a dominant logic based upon universal values. Explain why you consider this to be the case.

4. Put forward the names of three multinational and/or “global” organisations which you consider apply a dominant logic which ensures the consistent success of acquisitions. Provide five principles, perspectives or priorities which you consider have been fundamental to this success.

5. Put forward the names of two organisations, business or otherwise, whom you would be willing to make substantial self-sacrifice in your personal life. Explain the reasons why you would be willing to make such a sacrifice.

6. Put forward two individuals from your personal experience whom you consider made substantial sacrifices and/or their significant others for the long-term benefit of a business organisation or other community. Provide examples of the manner by which they made such sacrifices and put forward reasons why they considered it appropriate.
