Make sure to do a comprehensive feasibility analysis to determine whether the analytics data and analytics work requested is feasible and can actually be accomplished. Generously ask questions of the requester to make sure you fully understand the difficult request; then, if it is truly difficult (or at worst impossible) to execute, propose alternatives when you explain the reality.
