AVOIDING DAMAGES
When we work slowly, without a swinging movement, we can avoid damages by pausing, stopping, changing the course. Conversely, quick movements do not facilitate learning and might be harmful by becoming technical and eroding. Consequently, students repeat the mistakes they have adopted in their daily conduct and, thus, strengthen them. As mentioned above, slow learning does not aim to emulate reality but rather to help us cope with it. It purposefully contradicts our daily actions which are performed quickly while being task-oriented.
