The blog continues to discuss how Beyoncé is a bottom bitch with the use of her husband’s rap lyrics in the song “Drunk in Love” specifically referencing the violence of how he is going to treat her.[40] In the song Jay-Z compares himself to Mike Tyson and Ike Turner; two men who were accused of physical abuse and rape and Tyson was convicted of rape in 1992. They go on to discuss how Beyoncé is silencing the voice of Black women through her lyrics in songs such as “***Flawless” by telling women, or rather “bitches,” to “bow” before her.[41] However, they do mention that they welcome a discussion on this Beyhive bottom bitch feminism, but in the same moment consider that:

As womanists and black feminists, we have a responsibility to bring it with our cultural work which we will infuse, at all times, with an ethic of care and responsibilities.[42]
