USE A 20-INCH (51 CM) ROUND BOARD

Make Hanukkah extra special with this menorah-shaped board where everyone can build their own latkes and snack on the sweets that make it complete. Kids and adults alike will delight in this fun twist on the holiday classic.

10 to 12 latkes (store-bought or see recipe)

1 cup (150 g) blueberries

11/2 cups (240 g) white yogurt- covered raisins

5 gold-wrapped dark chocolate almond butter cups, cut in half

2 sticks string cheese, each cut into fifths

9 large candy corn

2/3 cup (160 g) applesauce, for serving

2/3 cup (160 g) sour cream, for serving

1. Make or reheat the latkes. Use the latkes to create an upside-down T shape on the middle of the board to serve as the base for the menorah.

2. Use the blueberries to create 4 candleholders on either side of the base.

3. Fill in the space between each line of blueberries with the white yogurt-covered raisins.

4. Place the gold-wrapped chocolate halves, cut sides down, on the top of each line of blueberries. Top each chocolate with a piece of string cheese and then a candy corn to create the 9 lights.

5. Put the applesauce and sour cream in small serving bowls and place the bowls alongside the snack board.
