The steam launch Agnes K. arrives at New Berlin in 1900 with a sizeable passenger load. She was primarily used for local service.

The steel-hulled Crescent, built at Merrill-Stevens in the early 1900s, ran between Jacksonville or Palatka and Crescent City for many years. She later was found in service on Tampa Bay.

Although quite average-looking in these photos, Three Friends was the most famous of the Jacksonville towing vessels. She saw duty as a filibustering vessel in Cuba, a dispatch boat in the Spanish-American War, and a salvage tug before her last career as a conventional harbor tug.
