4 Conclusions

The proposed approach to differentiation of the texts of the scientific, belles-lettres (poetry, emotive prose, drama), newspaper and colloquial styles on the phonological level made it possible to determine a degree of an effect of style and language factors. A strong style factor effect has been obtained when the double-sided level of significance 2Q < 0.1 %. The applied hypothesis, ranking and style distance determination methods allowed to determine the interrelations of phonostatistical structures of the researched styles for more precise characterization of phonostatistical peculiarities of the texts under study. The model proposed represents distances among the texts of the scientific, belles-lettres, newspaper and colloquial styles established by mean frequencies of the occurrence of consonant phoneme groups in which essential differences have been determined. The proposed combination of statistical methods makes it possible to relate with higher precision a text to a particular class of style and establish its authorship. Our future research will deal with building a model representing specifics of consonant phoneme groups functioning in the style system under study.
