Do not swing your body. Swinging your body takes away from proper biceps strengthening and promotes low-back injury.

MASTER TECHNIQUE: PREACHER CURL

The preacher curl is one of the simplest biceps moves because the bench automatically puts you in the proper position. We prefer using a barbell (as shown) because it allows for a full range of motion. Although preacher benches with an attached bar are often available and may be used, many models tend to limit the range of motion.
