Ketogenic Vegan Bagel Thins

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Serves: 8 bagel thins

Ingredients

1/2 cup tahini, unsalted

3 tablespoons flax seed, ground

1 cup water

1/2 cup psyllium husk powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

Garnish With (If desired)

Sesame seeds

Steps

1. Heat up an oven to 375ºF.

2. Add salt, baking powder, ground flax seeds and psyllium husk powder into a fairly large mixing bowl.

3. Whisk until well combined.

4. Add water into the mixing bowl with the dry mixture and whisk until the water is well incorporated and absorbed.

5. Add the tahini and mix until a smooth consistency is reached.

TIP: You can use clean hands to mix and knead.

6. Use your hands to create (4 inches diameter) thick patty-shapes and cut a small circle in the center of each patty round.

7. Transfer patties into a baking tray.

8. Add the sesame seeds and transfer into the preheated oven and bake until golden brown, for about 40 minutes.

9. Cut into 2 like the regular bagel and toast.

10. Fill as desired and enjoy.
