Latinos in the NPSS, in contrast to whites, trust blacks, Asians, and fellow Latinos more than they trust people in general. They do not distinguish trust between people in general and whites. They also trust blacks, Asians, and Latinos more than they do whites. Latinos, interestingly, do not trust differently among Asian Americans, blacks, and Latinos, as their trust for these groups is statistically indistinguishable. Thus, similar to blacks, Latinos trust whites the least of all other racial groups. But, unlike blacks, they do not trust their own group more than they trust Asians and blacks.
