But how would you feel if you were contacting a brain
surgeon in the middle of an operation, and he said, “I have no
time right now for your questions.” Would you take that
personally?
You shouldn’t.
This is just an “Inconvenience” objection and should be taken
literally. All the prospect is stating is that they’re willing to talk
to you, but at another time.
And if after making your Time Locking proposal your Time Bandit
said to you, “I hear what you’re saying but I really don’t
understand,” would that stop you in your tracks? No, you would
make it your responsibility to explain and educate further,
wouldn’t you?
Why does it matter that there are only four objection categories?
Because for every category you must have a response. So
instead of having to learn many of them, you only have to learn
four – these four:
Category 1: No Need … Second Opinion
Category 2: Distrust … Feel/Felt/Found
Category 3: Inconvenience … When will it be convenient?
Category 4: I Don’t Understand …
Please allow me to educate.
