FANCY ALMOND MYLKYWAY

Like a candy bar but infinitely better for you! Say goodbye to your days of buying almond mylk at the store, especially when you have this treat by your side. Dates are nature’s caramel, almonds are a healthy protein source and coconut butter provides your dose of healthy fats.

Yields 2½ cups

1½ cups almonds

4 cups water

6 dates, pitted

1 tbsp coconut butter

½ tsp vanilla extract OR 1 vanilla bean, scraped

Pinch of sea salt

½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth and chill thoroughly before drinking.
