I call this “fearful eating.” You have nothing to be afraid of—I swear you will not starve. Make a conscious choice to eat just until you feel you’ve had enough. Remember slightly satisfied? Again, listen to your HQ! And if you start to feel a little panicky—like “I may not get to eat again until 6:00 P.M.!”—remind yourself that you’re prepared. Those almonds are right there in your pocket, remember?
