Smoked Pork with Beans

This recipe provides you with all the proteins and carbs in a single deal with pork style ribs cooked with a pinto bean in BBQ sauce. When ribs are smoked with beans, it keeps the texture of every ingredient fresh and chunky, which makes this recipe extra tempting.

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 4 hours.

Ingredients:

• 2lbs. Boneless pork country style ribs

• 1 1/2 cans Pinto beans

• 5 oz. jar Hot pepper jelly

• 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

• 1 cup onions, chopped

• 1 1/2 cloves garlic, chopped

• Salt, to taste

• Black Pepper, to taste

• Cayenne, to taste

Instructions:

1. Mix salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a bowl.

2. Season the ribs with spice mixture.

3. Place the ribs in a sheet pan and place it in the middle rack of the smoker.

4. Cook for 1.5 hours at 200 degrees F.

5. Meanwhile, mix beans with BBQ sauce, garlic, onion, and pepper jelly in a bowl.

6. Pour the beans mixture over the ribs and cover them with a foil.

7. Cook the ribs for another 3 to 4 hours at 250 degrees F.

8. Remove the foil and smoke for another 30 minutes.

9. Serve.
