Chapter Fourteen

A lastair stared down at a sleeping Leyah and grinned wolfishly. Pride filled him and caused his chest to swell as he reveled in the knowledge that he’d put Leyah to bed, causing her to pass out with pleasure. He knew from the way she’d reacted and the flesh blocking him from penetrating her fully with his finger, that not only was he the first person to touch Leyah so intimately, but he would bet his crown that he was the first, and only person to give her an orgasm.

The thought caused his aching, neglected shaft to throb in his boxer briefs, pre-cum spurting out and dampening the front of the material. To know that Leyah was untouched sent an unprecedented surge of lust to cascade through his body. Alastair wondered if that was Leyah’s secret. The fact that she was virgin.

He nodded his head. He suspected that the gorgeous brown-skinned beauty did not want him to know she was an innocent. He was almost certain of it. Most of the women he came into contact with were experienced lovers. As a matter of fact, many of them boasted of the fact that they could handle whatever it was he would dish out, as they were no strangers to sex, intimacy, and kink. But Leyah… she wanted to hide the fact that no one had taken her virginity yet.

Alastair lay on the bed watching Leyah as she slept. She was absolutely beautiful. While she was not classically attractive, Alastair found that he was still attracted to her. He reached out and lay his hand on the bare skin of her stomach, marveling at the contrast in their skin tones. He and his brothers spent a lot of time out in the sun getting the tans they had. Whether it was through hard labor where they were exposed to the elements, helping out the palace staff—though it was not normally done—or lounging out at the pool, or in the case of Andreas and Augustus, through their service to His Majesty’s military.

Alastair shook his head. Even with his tanned skin, Leyah was still darker than him. It was not something that turned him off. No, on the contrary it was a turn-on. He mused over the fact that while he did not see skin color with any of his other paramours, many of them had pale peaches and cream skin tones, with light colored eyes, and either blonde or brown hair.

There was the girl with the green hair that one time, he thought to himself with a chuckle.

He quickly shut off his mirth when Leyah shifted on the bed next to him. Unable to help himself, Alastair lifted his hand from her stomach and reached up to caress her cheek. A feeling of warmth and gentleness flowed through him. Things he’d never experienced or felt before. What was it about this woman that affected him in such a way?

When his mind conjured images of Leyah lying next to him in this way for years to come, his ring on her finger, Alastair knew it was time to go.
