The map’s script to the treasure is found

A fter Edward Young Stammers was murdered, his wife, Joana Borges, decided to move to the town of Mogi Mirim, in the state of São Paulo, with her small children.

Alfred, Edward’s older brother, worked as a train conductor at Central do Brasil and went back to the town of Lorena, bringing along a box with objects that belonged to his brother who had been killed in Rio de Janeiro.

A few years later, Alfred met a Brazilian widow who lived in Lorena and married her. Alfred became the stepfather of the widow’s son, young Frederico da Silva Ramos.

He told his brother’s story to the young man, explaining how he had met an old pirate who lived in hiding in the town of Curitiba, and that he claimed the pirate had given him the map’s script to a great treasure, hidden on Trinidad Island.

Alfred, however, had never believed this story. He used to tell Frederico his brother had been conned by a crazy old man, and that lie, which his brother had believed, ended up costing him is own life.

Young Frederico was enthralled by the pirate treasure story, but, because there was no concrete proof of it all, his stepfather’s whole report was considered to be a fantasy.

A few years later, Alfred passed away and left all of his belongings to Frederico.

In 1910, Frederico da Silva Ramos was already twenty-seven years old and worked as a teacher in a school in Lorena.

He enjoyed telling his students the story of pirate captain Zulmiro, who had lived during the previous century hiding in southern Brazil, and how his uncle had been friends with the pirate.

However, teacher Frederico himself did not believe that story in full. It was more like a fictional tale, which had a tragic ending, with his uncle’s death.

One day, when he was cleaning his basement and putting some things aside, Frederico came upon the box with the items his stepfather had collected at his murdered uncle’s house.

At first, Frederico thought about throwing out all of those papers, newspapers, and old books that were in the box, as it made no sense to keep all those papers that had been only collecting dust over the years.

Frederico was taking the box out, when one of the papers fell on the ground. He picked it up and read it. He was impressed when he realized that it was, in fact, a letter from Uncle Edward about pirate Zulmiro.

At that moment, he remembered the stories his deceased stepfather Alfred used to tell him, about the strange encounter Uncle Edward had had a long time ago, when he arrived in Brazil and went to live in Curitiba.

Frederico took the box back inside and started to read all those documents and old papers carefully.

When he realized the documents included copies of all the letters Uncle Edward had submitted to the Jornal do Brasil , he was curious enough to go through the contents of all the material.

It also included all
