Obi-Wan managed to stop before he fell into the ocean

below. But by the time he climbed back up to the landing

pad, Jango had escaped in his ship.

While Obi-Wan trailed Jango, Anakin and Padmé

searched for Anakin’s mother. At her home, they found

Anakin’s stepfamily and his trusty droid C-3PO. But

Anakin’s mother was nowhere to be seen. She had been

captured by Tusken Raiders.

Anakin told Padmé to wait in safety while he confronted

the Tusken Raiders.

“I won’t be long.”
