Epiphany

When I was young I wanted to read about sports, adventure, biographies, classic books, philosophy, comics, and cartoons. I reasoned that to do this I needed to read faster and learn mnemonics so I could remember things better. I wanted to do math in my head, faster than others could do it on a slide rule or calculator. So I read books that taught me how to do these things. It has made my life easier and more productive.
