When giant pandas are born they’re only as big as a stick of butter. They open their eyes after about two months and begin to crawl soon after.

Their fur is very soft when they’re young and becomes coarse as they get older.

For the first year, cubs mostly drink their mother’s milk. When they’re six months old they can eat a little bit of bamboo.

Mothers play with their cubs by rolling around and wrestling with them.
