Agreeableness
Agreeableness does not mean a person will simply agree to anything, although many agreeable persons are so inclined. It’s an older use of the word, meaning friendly, good-natured, easy to get along with—“he’s an agreeable fellow.” Complete agreeableness can be a problem because those who place getting along with others above all their other priorities may have trouble asserting themselves or fighting for what’s right. ERIICA respondents rated themselves and superheroes as being very agreeable, considering themselves to be just as agreeable as most superheroes. Evidently, though, they want their heroes to be even more likable, rating heroes as being more agreeable than superheroes or themselves. In contrast, it comes as no surprise that they rated supervillains very low in this factor.
