[Commercial break]

Bill: Okay, welcome back in to our Willie Wednesday. Texas governor Rick Perry says he expects evacuees to start arriving within the next twenty-four hours at the Houston Astrodome. He says Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco asked him this morning if the Astrodome could house the 23,000 people currently being sheltered at the Superdome in Louisiana, and he quickly agreed. He says that even before the request, Texas officials had been talking about using the Astrodome as a long-term shelter for people already stranded in Texas because of the storm, but in case you folks have not heard, Houston is going to be moving the people from the Superdome to the Astrodome. Those folks stuck in the massive horrible thing out there in Louisiana … New Orleans. Let’s go back to our good pal Willie, my boy, my boy.

Willie: Hey, Bill.

Bill: We’ve never seen anything like this, and of course, just picking up on what has been said so many times during the past couple of days, we talk about the fuel issue, the truck stops running out of fuel. We already don’t have enough fuel to meet the demand. But we have to get to more when there’s something tragic: the loss of human life.

Incidentally, I had the occasion to be with Peter Bell and several more at the Biodiesel Breakfast at The Truck Show. Some very good people there. And I saw more interest than I have ever seen on the subject of Willie Biodiesel. I think a lot of good was done there pointing in the right direction. We are trying to get you to manufacture enough. Look at this. I’m getting an

e-mail coming in now. Everybody’s wanting it. And you hear the people talk about it. They get more miles per gallon. All that has to be done is it has to be manufactured. Time to say that it’s got to be done. Let’s go to NoHandle.

Willie: NoHandle?

NoHandle: Yes, sir.

Willie: How you doin’ today?

NoHandle: Hell, I’m ridin’ around through North Carolina into Virginia right now.

Willie: Well, that’s gotta be pretty nice.

NoHandle: Well, it’s nice and pleasant, getting a little cool because of all of the cloud cover. And the moisture of that little hurricane. But it’s alright.

Willie: Yeah, well, I wish you all the luck up there. What can I do for you today?

NoHandle: Were you aware that there’s a flood of peanuts on the market?

Willie: Well, I knew that there was a relaxing of the allotment thing on peanuts. And I heard that there were a lot of people going around the leasing of the peanut ground. I did hear that.

NoHandle: Well, there was a major flood in the market. They’ve overproduced peanuts this year, and since the peanut crop is so large, the government has bought up all of the excess peanut allotment and they are going to just take the peanuts off the market. In order to hold the price up, which means the government is holding peanuts.

Willie: I didn’t know that.

NoHandle: Yeah, which means nothing is going to be done with them.
