GETTING THERE

Little Cubs Field is in Freeport, west of Chicago. The drive to Freeport from Downtown Chicago is about 120 miles and takes around two hours. The most direct route takes you west on I-90 and US-20.

You’ll want to invest in a Ventra card ($5) upon arriving in Chicago. This card is the easy way to use rapid transit; just touch it to the reader when entering a station or bus and refill it at a vending machine at any station.

CTA also has a sophisticated bus network. Many bus routes cut through and around the Loop. Consult the CTA website for the bus you want.
