A pen or markerstones: When I made my unicorn mist, I used a small shungite bead so it could easily fit in my glass bottle. As we learned earlier, shungite is a stone of purification, regeneration, and protection. The shungite and essential oils in this mix provide you with the purifying power of the unicorn’s horn, while your pointed crystal quartz plays the part of the energy-amplifying alicorn.

essential oils: Essential oil is the concentrated liquid pulled from a plant. The essential oils I’ve included here all have purifying properties, from antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial to antiseptic and deodorizing, among other things. Citronella and tea tree are especially cleansing. Lavender provides a calming air, while citrus oils such as lemon, lime, and orange are uplifting and energizing. Historically, holy and sacred oils such as frankincense, palo santo, rosemary, and sage can add a high vibration and a spiritual intention to the mix.

Rose oil also has antibacterial properties, but I’ve included this one in the list not for its purification qualities but mainly because it’s usually recorded as the highest-frequency oil at 320 MHz (Higley and Higley 2012, 114). To put this into perspective, lavender is 118 MHz (Ibid., 88) and a healthy human body is 62–78 MHz, and when the frequency level of the body goes down, disease begins to take hold. With rose being at such a high level, it’s an optimal oil to choose for a unicorn mist. The downside is that it’s also very expensive. No worries, though. If you’d like to include the high vibration of this flower but can’t obtain the essential oil, we’ll be looking at alternate options as we dig into putting your recipe together.
