YOU CUT LOOPS OF PAPER IN HALF BUT GET SURPRISING RESULTS

You announce that you are going to perform a trick with a loop of paper. You explain that you will cut a fat loop in half and get two loops linked together. You cut the loop and hold up two loops. Now you look puzzled, but try again. You cut one of the loops in half again but this time you get one really long loop. You then cut the second loop and this time you get two loops linked together. Amazing and amusing!

YOU’LL NEED

1. A strip of paper four inches wide and about two feet long (newspaper works very well)

2. Glue

3. Scissors
