Headley and Lashkar-e-Taiba

Headley became involved with the Islamic militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba. He started taking unauthorized trips to Pakistan in 2000 and 2001, and started showing all the signs of Islamic radicalization. Headley continued to travel back and forth between the US and Pakistan. During this time, several phone calls were made to the FBI about Headley’s possible ties with terrorism, but Headley was never interviewed. He was later sent by the LeT to collect information about potential targets in Mumbai.
