Ingredients

TOTAL Greek Yoghurt

1lb of pork steaks

Olive oil

Butter

Shallots

Garlic, chopped

1 tbsp plain flour

Cider

1 Bramley apple, peeled and sliced

2-3 quince, peeled and grated

1 tbsp runny honey

Fresh thyme

Method

1. Brown the pork steaks in oil and butter. Once browned, remove the meat from the heat and set aside.

2. With your original pan, add the shallots and chopped garlic and cook until the vegetables have softened.

3. Next stir in the plain flour and cook for a few minutes longer.

4. Add half a bottle of good cider like Dabinett's.

5. Return the pork to the pan and add one peeled and sliced Bramley apple and 2-3 peeled and grated quince.

6. Let the dish simmer for 20 minutes with the lid on.

7. Just before serving stir in the honey and swirl some Greek yoghurt on top.

8. Finally add a handful of chopped fresh thyme and serve.
