Anton Morelli’s “Secret Million-Dollar Fudge”

4 ½ cups granulated sugar

2 tablespoons butter

¼ teaspoon salt

1 12-ounce can evaporated milk

12 1-ounce squares semi-sweet chocolate

12 ounces chocolate chips

1 pint marshmallow cream

1 cup chopped walnuts

Grease a 12×8×2-inch pan.

Boil sugar, butter, salt, and milk for 6 minutes,

stirring constantly.

In a large bowl, pour boiling mixture over

the remaining ingredients.

Beat until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.

Pour into a greased 12x8x2-inch pan and cool completely.

Let stand for several hours before cutting into squares.

Store in a sealed container lined with wax paper.
