Lean is often confused with Agile. There are some who think that Lean and Agile are one and the same, and there are other people who assume that Lean is part of Agile.
Both of the statements above are misconceptions. On a related manner, however, Lean and Agile could work harmoniously together. They complement each other and more importantly, they compensate for lacking abilities.
For one, take a look at Lean and Agile’s individual approaches. While Lean addresses a set-based development technique, Agile focuses on adaptive planning. If you put these approaches together, you can address both a set-based and adaptive development.
