What I like about this app is that it includes actual videos of precisely what to do to administer CPR in a step-by-step fashion. The app even asks you “yes/no” questions about the victim’s state and then shows you what to do depending upon your answer. For example, the first question asked with a heart attack starts with, “Is the victim alert?” as shown here:

Then, depending on whether you answer “yes” or “no” to that question, you’ll get a different action to take along with details on what to do next, along with more “yes” or “no” questions.

About the only annoying part of the app is the audio instructions, which can be turned off, but I figure I’m better off having it talk me through CPR if I forget in the moment.

Of course, you should have a clue about how and when to administer CPR regardless of the app’s prompts, so be sure to, at the very least, study this app a few times over or, better yet, attend a hands-on course. The only downfall I see is that the app doesn’t discuss children, babies, and pregnant moms who all have different CPR needs.

Finally, you may also want to adjust some of the Settings, such as which notification and metronomes to be shown and even how many times to repeat the instructions. Click the “More” icon, choose Settings, then adjust as you see fit:
