Instructions:

1 Roll out the sugarpaste in the colour of your choice, using icing sugar to stop it sticking to the work surface.

2 Emboss the surface of the icing to look like a quilted blanket.

3 Using your prepared template, cut the icing to form a square.

4 Spread a small amount of buttercream or jam on top of the cake and lay the icing blanket on top, with the points overhanging the edge.

5 Make tiny feet from white sugarpaste and stick on top of your cup cake.
