17. Garlic Herbed Chicken
A delicious chicken recipe with herbs, cream, and butter.
Makes: 4 servings
Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 13 mins
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons `herbs de Provence'
1 tablespoon prepared Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound boneless and skinless chicken thighs
8 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup water
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the butter, herbs, olive oil, mustard, minced garlic, and vinegar. Add the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature or place in a fridge.
Open the Instant Pot’s top lid and switch it on.
Click “SAUTE” cooking function; add the oil in it and allow it to heat.
In the pot, add the garlic; cook (while stirring) until translucent, 2 mins.
Add the chicken without marinade and brown evenly.
Add the water, marinade, then gently stir to mix well.
Then, close top lid; make sure that safety valve is in locking position.
Click “MANUAL” cooking function; timer to 10 mins.
After cooking time is done with, click “CANCEL” setting.
Click “QPR” cooking function. This setting is for quick release of inside pressure.
Slowly open the lid, add the cream on top.
Take out the cooked recipe in serving plates or serving bowls and enjoy the recipe.
